Doxa's Fabrics

Doxa's RUN | RECYCLE | REPEATcollection is made with premium Italian polyester fabrics, which is recycled and transformed from old PET plastic bottles. By choosing recycled polyester (rPET) Doxa are able to deliver the same high technical performance in fibers but with a smaller environmental footprint.   

Why choose Recycled Polyester (rPET) instead of Virgin Polyester (PET)?

The Well - because the recycling proces reconstitutes the fiber on a molecular level, there is actually no difference between recycled polyester and virgin polyester. This means that performance and durability, benefits, including high strength and functional versatility of recycled polyester is the same as traditional polyester but with a lower environmental impact.

The simple pros:

- Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that is not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the oceans.

- Producing recycled polyester is better for the climate, creating 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester.
